Use this system when members should apply through a consistent form instead of sending unstructured direct messages. Setup requires Manage Server.

Commands

  1. Run /staff setup in a staff-only channel.
  2. Add at least one question, then choose the accepted role, review channel, and staff-manager role in the setup panel.
  3. Run /staff enable only when the team is ready to review submissions.
  4. Close the intake with /staff disable after the application window.
  5. Keep a consistent review rubric and tell applicants when to expect a response.
Questions are entered in one setup field separated by |, for example:
The staff-manager role is the role that can accept or reject applications. Keep the review channel private and ensure the accepted role sits below Hedwig’s highest role if the bot must assign it.
